På kurset lærer du om centrale principper og værktøjer indenfor Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Du præsenteres for værktøjer til implementering af hybride løsninger, herunder Windows Admin Center og PowerShell. Du lærer også at implementere identiteter i hybrid-miljøer, bl.a. får du erfaring med Azure Active Directory DS på Azure Iaas. Du lærer derudover at intregrere Azure AD DS med Azure AD. Yderligere får du indføring i administration og monitorering af hybride miljøer med værktøjer som WAC, Azure Arc, Azure Automation og Azure Monitor. Du lærer også om teknologier knyttet til sikring af et hybridmiljø, herunder Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel og Windows Update Management. Du præsenteres for implementering af fil services i hybridmiljøer med Azure Files og Azure File Sync. Instruktøren fortæller derudover om planlægning og implementering i hybrid og cloud-only migration, back-up og recovery. Du får hands-on erfaring med at deploye, administrere og vedligeholde Azure virtuelle maskiner, som kører en Windows Server 2019, herunder at konfigurere netværk, lagring og sikkerhed.

Module 1: Introducing Azure Hybrid IaaS with Windows Server 2019
- This module describes the principles of Azure IaaS (compute, storage, and networking), and the methods of integrating on-premises environments with Azure and Azure AD (network, file services, management, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, and identity). The module also introduces hybrid administrative tools (Windows Admin Center, Azure portal, PowerShell, and Azure CLI). As an introductory module, the majority of these topics will be covered in more depth later in the course. Additionally, the module does not cover Windows Server 2019 technologies beyond the topics that are relevant from a hybrid integration standpoint.
