På kurset får du en grundlæggende indføring i installation, konfiguration og administration af Windows 10 maskiner. Du får et indblik i hardwarekrav samt værktøjer, der kan anvendes under installation. Du vil få en forståelse for at håndtere installationen af manglende drivere samt kende til, hvordan Windows PowerShell, Settings App og Group policies bruges under konfiguration. Du lærer om opdatering af Windows 10, herunder om brugen af Microsoft’s Windows Servicing Model. Derudover lærer du om netværksstyring fra Windows 10; både trådløst og kablet. Endelig vil de lagringsmuligheder Windows 10 tilbyder både lokalt, i skyen og virtuelt blive præsenteret. Kurset tilbyder en indføring i installation af programmer på Windows 10, både automatisk og manuelt. Samtidig vil de forskellige brugertyper og måder at logge ind på blive præsenteret. Sikkerhed i Windows 10 indgår også på kurset. Du lærer om Windows Defender, Firewall, kryptering af netværksforbindelser og data samt Applocker. Endelig præsenteres du får en bred vifte af fejlfindingsværktøjer i Windows 10, som kan udrede mange af de problemer, der fremkommer indenfor OS, applikationer, performance, hardware, brugerdata eller systemfejl. Dette kursus er det første ud af to kurser, der hjælper dig med den viden, som skal til for at blive Microsoft 365 certifiied: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate. Desuden hjælper kurset dig hvis du vil forberede dig til at tage eksamen MD-100.

Module 1: Installing Windows

  • This module covers installing the Windows 10 OS. Students will learn the different editions of Windows 10, requirements, and new features introduced. This module covers how to install the OS, as well as methods for migrations and upgrading. Students will also learn about common tools used in the deployment process.

  • In this module, Students will learn about keeping Windows 10 up-to-date. Students will be introduced to the new Windows servicing model and how it applies to various scenarios. Students will learn the various different methods for updating Windows and applications, as well as managing updates using tools like group policy and Windows Update for Business.

  • In this module, Students will learn about networking concepts. This module will introduce to IPv4 and IPv6, and concepts like DNS.
